Module Status Indicators:

Status Indicator Condition Description & Action
PASS Green steady The module is operating normally. The ACTIVE indicator blinks once per scan when executing a control program. No action is required.
Green steady, No light No control program has been loaded or a control program is loaded but not started. If the ACTIVE indicator doesn't go on, the module needs to be replaced.
FAULT Red steady, No light The module has failed and must be replaced.
Red blinking, No light The MP is re-educating. Wait for the PASS indicator to turn on, followed by the ACTIVE indicator.
ACTIVE Red steady The MP soft error count is very high. Replace the module at the first opportunity.
Off The module is not properly functioning, and the module must be replaced.
Maint1/2 Off No significant errors detected.

Features & Advantages:

  • High-Speed Processing: Equipped with the National NS32GX32 processor (25 MHz) and NS32381 math co-processor, it ensures fast execution of control logic and real-time decision-making.
  • Memory Capacity: The 3006 model includes 2 MB SRAM, while the 3007 model provides 1 MB SRAM, offering ample space for data storage and operational tasks.
  • Fault Detection: The PASS, FAULT, and ACTIVE indicators provide clear insights into the module's operating status, including re-education, soft errors, or hardware failure, allowing for quick troubleshooting.
  • Communication Support: Supports RS-485 communication protocols at different speeds (2 Mbps for communication and 375 kbps for I/O), enabling seamless data transfer in large-scale automation systems.
  • Battery Backup: Ensures timekeeping and critical data retention, even during power interruptions, with the clock calendar featuring a battery backup and minimal time drift.
