The BS201 to BS216 backplanes interconnect M1 controller hardware modules, such as power supplies, CPU modules, and input/output modules, both mechanically and electrically. These backplanes form the backbone of the controller. The DIN rail adapters (S201, S202, S203, S205) are mechanically identical but without electrical functionality, used for solitary modules without a backplane bus and supply.
