Description

The Bently Nevada 3500/42-04-00 (135489-01) is an I/O Module with internal barriers and internal terminations designed for use in systems requiring intrinsically safe signal conditioning for Proximitor and/or Seismic transducers. This module provides four channels of intrinsically safe signal conditioning, with two internally mounted zener barrier modules, one for each pair of transducer channels.

Internal Termination I/O modules require direct wiring of each transducer to the I/O module. The module offers the following configurations:

1. Four channels for Proximitor transducers only
2. Two channels for Proximitor transducers and two for Seismic transducers
3. Four channels for Seismic transducers only

The module is suitable for use in hazardous areas where intrinsically safe devices are required, and the system will need an Earthing Module to ensure safety. For more detailed system requirements, refer to the Rack Installation and Maintenance Manual.

This module works with the 3500/42M Proximitor Seismic Monitor, a four-channel monitor that accepts input from proximity and seismic transducers, conditions the signal, and compares it with user-programmable alarms to provide vibration and position measurements.
