Description
The 3500/22M Transient Data Interface (TDI) acts as the interface between the 3500 monitoring system and compatible software solutions, including System 1 Condition Monitoring and Diagnostic software and 3500 System Configuration software. It integrates the functions of the 3500/20 Rack Interface Module (RIM) with advanced data collection capabilities from communication processors like TDXnet.
The I/O Module Signal Common Terminal features a 2-pin connector for linking Signal Common to a single-point Instrument Ground for the rack. This setup, when configured, requires the selector switch on the Power Input Module (PIM) to be adjusted in the direction of the "HP" arrow to isolate Signal Common from the chassis (safety) ground.
