For probe penetration lengths between 1.0 and 2.0 inches, counterboring the machine case may be required to reduce probe side or rear view effects.

If the probe penetration length (C + D) exceeds 300 mm (12 in), additional sleeve support is necessary to prevent resonance.

The adjustment range for probe penetration option D is ± 13 mm (± 0.5 in).
